From Ceremony to Celebration: A Graduation Lookbook

Hello all, and welcome back to my blog. Today’s post features the looks I wore on my graduation day.

I wanted to evoke class, sophistication, and femininity, as well as happiness and cheer due to the occasion. So while online shopping, I decided on this fun and flirty piece by Cike (similar here). Since the ceremony was to be quite long, and I knew I had to walk a bit, I opted to wear these Nine West flats. I added some bow shoe clips (similar here) as a cutesy detail. I accessorized the look with my cap (DIY-ed by yours truly) and gown of course, along with a Lia Sophia cocktail ring (similar here), a chain knuckle ring (alternative here), a Jessica Carlyle watch (similar here), and Anthropologie earrings.

For my dinner look, I threw on my chic cat-eye sunnies (similar here), trusty Guess trench (similar here), and these lovely sandals by Ivanka Trump (similar here, simply add your bow, and you’re good to go!). I also grabbed my barely there Paula Abdul clutch (similar here), as I thought it paired well with the art deco inspired jewelry I selected for the look.
