Classically Chic

Today’s look features the black and white trend that has been very prevalent the last couple of years, and has continued to ride the waves this season. Although I am seeking to follow a trend here, I also feel that this ensemble has a classic element to it as well… It’s all in the details- the never-dated color palette, the red lip, the cat eye sunnies- all these aspects give this outfit a classic flair. However, the addition of modern pieces the cage-inspired earrings, skinny belt, leather panel jeans, designer-inspired bag and kickin’ pointed toe mules- add a dash of modernity to the look. I love how it all came together. All-in-all, I think this outfit gives off a chic feel. It’s simple, it’s timeless, and it’s versatile. All things I’m loving these days.
